The Riches of His Grace

The Riches of His Grace

We thank God for our salvation, beyond this, God made available to us His grace to make life easy for us. When the grace of God abounds in a man, he is rich in God’s grace ‘…it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.’’

Genesis 39:4. And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.

Titus 2:11. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared to all men

Romans 9:16. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Ecclesiastes 9:11. I returned and saw under the sun, that the race is not for the swift nor the battle for the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill: but time and chance happeneth to them all.

The riches of His grace in a life means it is only God that resides in such life. It means grace and blessing delivered without protocol. This grace was evident in the life of Joseph. He woke up in the morning as a prisoner and became a prime minister by the end of the day. The riches of God’s grace determines how far a man can go in life. The presence of the riches of God’s grace in the lives of Noah, David, Mary, Jabez, Esther and many others made the difference.

What will the Riches of His Grace do in a life?

  1. It opens the Book of Remembrance:

Where a man has been forgotten, the riches of His Grace will open the book of remembrance for him. In Esther 6:1-7. The day Mordecai was to be blessed, the king could not sleep. The King called for the book of remembrance and found out that Mordecai had reported Bigthana and Theresh, two of the King’s door keepers who sought to kill him. The king asked, ‘what honour and dignity had been done to Mordecai for this’’? I declare everyone who has used your work to stardom would open a book of remembrance to you and honour you, in Jesus name! Amen. The rewards recommended by Hamman was due to riches of God’s grace upon Mordecai’s life. The riches of His grace upon Joseph’s life worked for him also. Joseph was in slavery and in prison for years. He interpreted someone’s dream who then told the king much later.
